Update from a warm and sunny UK

Time has flown by since our return in April from 3 months in Cape Town. An article about the time spent sailing our Longboat Pellicano at FBYC has since appeared in the UK Drascombe Association News and can be found here. (click to read the article)

It is now the peak of our rally season, and our Dabber Bob'n'Annie is based in SW England this year. The weather was perfect for participation in early season events at Plymouth, Dartmouth and Brixham. The highlight was a short coastal passage between the latter two. The FBYC burgee will be seen at forthcoming rallies in Fowey, Cornwall; Poole in Dorset and Walton on Naze in Essex.

Good to hear that winter has brought much needed rain and, great sailing days as well in Simon's Town.

We look forward to returning for our next visit in 2019.
Dave and Vicki Staniforth
