WHAT YOU'VE MISSED

Max Ukropina popped in for a visit from Balboa Yacht Club, Corona del Mar, California.

A very quick informal burgee handover was done as he was on his way to catch his flight back home. He loved that he arrived to see us having the potjie comp as he was heading back to Balboa Yacht Club to have a chilli cook off. (They dock their boats together and have their cook off)

Vice Commodore Rob Newman gave Max a small bag of chillies to add to his chilli con carne.

Potjie Comp
The St Paddy's Day potjie competition was a great success.

5 pots were entered, we had a seafood pot, chicken curry, lamb shank, steak pie and a beef curry.

Dan and Claire won the best dressed as they were dressed in matching outfits.

Paul and Michela won the best potjie - the lamb shank.

The music by Brandon Lee Hunt was fantastic till we had load shedding. If you missed him, its okay, Brandon will be back on 20th April from 12h00 - 16h00.

Thank you to Richard de Wet for judging the potjies for us.
