I was saddened to learn that Jerzy (George) Pilatowicz passed away on Thursday 8th June.George will be remembered within the FBYC community for owning the Impact class yacht “Imp†during the 1990’s and more latterly building and racing the Mount Gay 30 “Titan 2000â€. Never short of an opinion on a wide range of interesting subjects, aside from sailing George also loved Jaguar motor cars, dogs and Range Rovers. Our condolences to Dawn and the rest of the Pilatowicz family.

FBYC SAILING:
Due to the bad weather we have had, there has been no racing to report on. I did however have a meet-and-great with the youth sailors on Saturday afternoon. It was great putting faces to names and meeting the youth team. We will be meeting again on Friday 16 June for the first lesson to see how much the team knows.
Wednesday is the 2nd race in the 1st Winter Twilight Series – Start time 17h45.
Saturday – ROUND THE CANS – Start time 14h30.
