CCRC has celebrated a winter of plentiful rainfall and superb rowing conditions.

This season’s rowing activities included a club tour to the Berg River with participation in the annual Melk Run in conjunction with Alfred Rowing Club.

A first international CCRC outgoing tour followed in July. Ten of our members joined the Oldenburger Ruderverein club in Germany on an unforgettable rowing adventure between Frankfurt and Miltenburg over eight days. Congratulations to our team who rowed an average of 35km per day, forged lifelong friendships, discovered local scenery, limitless beer and food, locks to the hilt, and boat house floors for beds.

Club coaching of our Lawhill Maritime Academy development resumed with gusto and passion from coaches and a growing number of participants. CCRC is proud of this ongoing relationship as we reciprocate with rowing skills for the youth, on home ground. Thank you, Debbie and your team.
