Finn and Extra SAS Nationals

Our club hosted the Finn and Extra SAS Nationals this past weekend. Our close relationship with the SA Navy gave the sailors a perfect place to launch their boats and then come chill out at the club after a hard day’s sailing.

It was great to see some of SA’s top sailors and even better to catch up with good friends. The racing was good, but they only managed to get two out of the three days racing in.

RESULTS

FINN: 1st Dave Shilton, 2nd Greg Davis, and 3rd Georgou Divaris.

EXTRA: 1st Markus Progeli, 2nd Kevin Foreman, and 3rd our very own, Owen Middleton.

Prize-giving

A massive thank you, to all our members that volunteered, to make this a truly great regatta.
