SAS Youth Match Racing Regatta
|
|
|
|
We sent a youth team to RCYC to compete in the SAS Youth Match Racing Regatta.
|
Our team comprised of FBYC, Isivunguvungu and Lawhill youngsters. The competition was extremely close. Our team narrowly missed out on a semi-final position after drawing with two other clubs for fourth place in the round robin series.
|
|
|
Unfortunately, we lost out on a count-back and landed up with a sail-off with RCYC for fifth and sixth places. RCYC were confident that they would be victorious, but our team walked away with a fantastic win in the end to claim the fifth spot.
|
It was a fantastic weekend racing with lots of fun and experience gained.
|
|
|
|
