The last of the Autumn Twilight Sailing Series races was held on Wednesday the 2nd of June. Congratulations to Andre Baas and crew aboard Firefly who took first place. Second was Basil Langley and crew aboard Coppelia and third was Guy Bury, Geoff Olive and crew aboard Prion.
With it being the last of the series there are some overall results to announce. 7 races were sailed, which allowed for one discard. Congratulations to Andrew Edwards and crew aboard Stella for taking the overall win. Second was Firefly, third Coppelia, fourth Prion, fifth Salamander, sixth Moonraker, seventh Sir Henry, eighth Jasper, ninth Olleanna and tenth Big Boat. Well done to all those skippers and crews that took part.

The Closing Cruise was a fantastic success. Rowers, paddlers, powerboats and a large chunk of our sailing fleet took to the water to thank our Commodore, Flag Officers and Committee for a job well done over the past sailing season.
Thank you all, you couldn’t have organised a better day for it! I’m not sure my words will do it justice if I try to paint a picture of what it was like for those who weren’t here, hopefully, the pictures say it all!
