URGENT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS

Curfew: 22h00 until 04h00
|
Masks are to be worn at all times whilst on club premises. NO MASK – NO ENTRY.
|
Hand sanitizing and temperature checks will be conducted at the entrances. All members to sign-in on the Covid Access Form or preferably use the FBYC Covid App.
|
Crow’s Nest Bar: The bar and clubhouse will close at 21h00 and last rounds will be called at 19h30. No alcohol can be served after 20h00 – this is in line with the current liquor license laws, which could put the club in jeopardy if not adhered to. Members to please leave the premises by 21h00.
|
|
|
Braai, Lawn & Swimming: Large social gatherings are still prohibited, but members may use the club facilities, following COVID regulations.
|
Please call the office (021 786 1703) if you wish to use the braai/lawn facilities, bearing in mind capacity limits of 50 persons indoors, including the restaurant area.
|
Please be considerate as we can only allow a maximum of 100 persons outside of the clubhouse with proper social distancing.
|

Opening Cruise 2021
|
Please note that due to adverse weather conditions this weekend, we will be postponing the Opening Cruise to Saturday 18th September.
However, if the weather once again does not play ball, we will open the sailing season in the Crow’s Nest bar, with light entertainment.

New Application process for Vessel & Skipper's Certification
|
|
|
Dear Boat Owner and members wanting to make application for Skippers Tickets. Please note that the new process to apply and pay for Vessel Certification and Skipper's Tickets is via the SA Sailing Website.
|
Visit the SA Sailing home page www.sailing.org.za then click on the Information Library button, for the certification application you wish to apply for. In order to be able to make an application, you need to either be a member or have an SA Sailing profile/user account and be logged in.
|
|
|
|
- Non-members of SA Sailing can request a profile by clicking here.
- For Members, SA Sailing membership can be applied or renewed via our member registration page.
(Please note membership will only be activated on receipt of payment made on your behalf from your club).
|
When the application is completed, you will receive an invoice for payment, which will include a reference number and banking details. There is also an option to do an immediate payment by credit card.
|
|

Team participation during COVID 19
It is confirmed that all participants and support staff of tournaments held over multiple days, at the same venue, must have a PCR Covid test 72 hours prior to participation. This applies to all participants, whether they have been fully vaccinated, or had Covid previously, or not. Read more >

Your password is your membership number, which appears on your invoice/statement. You may also call the club office to find out your membership number.

1. Open the link in your Safari browser

2. At the bottom of your screen in the center is a square icon with an arrow pointing up, click on that.

3. Scroll up until you see the option Add to Home Screen.

4. You all set to go, just look for the FBYC logo. You might need to move it to your landing screen.
