HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL
Last week on Wednesday, our beloved Sailing Manager, Paul, became a year wiser!
The Crow's Nest was alive with birthday shenanigans, complete with office pranks, a cake fit for a sea captain, and a lot of hearty laughter.
Pauli, here's to another year of smooth sailing and grand adventures!

The past week has been marked by a flurry of activities and noteworthy developments at our esteemed False Bay Yacht Club.
Cold water intrusion into the canyon and the point temporarily slowed the pace of tuna catches and, regrettably, led to a decrease in the presence of Yellowtail along the point.
Nevertheless, our dedicated members managed to secure commendable tail catches within the point's shelter.
In an unexpected turn of events, Snoek made an appearance on Thursday, adding a welcomed twist to our fishing experiences.
The weekend also saw the Boat Show, which was a splendid occasion, followed by a well-attended Steak Night and a lively rugby match.
The enthusiasm and turnout were truly heartening, underscoring the success of these events. We look forward to hosting many more such gatherings in the future.
Looking ahead, it appears that the prevailing SE conditions may keep us ashore until the weekend. With fingers crossed, we anticipate favourable weather conditions for what promises to be a much-anticipated return to the water after a prolonged interval.
Thank you for your continued support and participation in the vibrant Angling community of False Bay Yacht Club.
