NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

FBYC members are hereby notified that the 66th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in the Crow’s Nest on Thursday 29 August 2024, at 18h00. We have extended the AGM by 1 week in order to allow sufficient time to complete the Annual Financial Statements.

Call for nominations for the General Committee for the year 2024/2025 has started. Note that, should you wish to formally nominate any Members to the Committee, you may obtain a nomination form from Mercedes admin@fbyc.co.za or call at the office.
The deadline for nominations to be submitted is 14 August 2024.

The AGM Agenda, together with the final list of nominees, will be placed on the clubhouse notice board and will appear in the Dolphyn Diary to be sent to all Members on 21 August 2024.

Please note voting rules in terms of the FBYC Constitution:
Voting: Except where otherwise provided in the Constitution, a decision or resolution of the General Committee of the club or of a General Meeting of the members shall be by majority of members in good standing, present and voting, there being no proxy votes allowed. Members under suspension for any reason at the time of voting are not entitled to vote. Members entitled to vote shall be Foundation Members, Ordinary Members, Life Members, Honorary Life Members, Senior Members and Special Members.
In the case of Family Membership, only one vote per family is permitted.
