  DOLPHYN DIARY – 224 – 12th September 2017  .  SAILING CALENDAR Wednesday was the first race of our Spring Twilight Series and we had a lovely turnout of 7 boats. 1st place Bonnie Lass, 2nd Ariel and 3rd,Pure Magic. The conditions were tough but the soup at the end was well worth the wind and cold. The breeze was very light and calmed as the fleet headed out to start. I had to make a difficult call and imposed Rule 10 (Time Limit) on the remaining fleet as the wind died.   SPECIAL SECURITY NOTICE – 12TH MAY 2017 BOAT SECURITY – HEADS UP! We have had another burglary on a yacht on the swing moorings yesterday morning in the early hours. They broke in and rummaged the boat, taking food, fishing tackle and shackles. They then deployed the life raft and paddled ashore. We are urging all boat owners to install on board alarms to protect their property directly, we can only cover so much with patrols.
